If you're not doing something you'd still like to be doing when you're 93, why not?

If I hadn't already had the good fortune to be inspired in person by Austin's Betty X. Davis, this week's article in the local paper would surely have done the trick:

"The aspiring children's book writer, who at age 93 is still waiting for her big break, is determined that she will write until she can't."

I want to be Betty X. Davis when I grow up.
